A computer and electronics recycling fundraiser will be part of the Webster Community Arts Day from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, April 10, at the Aquatic Center, 875 Ridge Road, adjacent to Schroeder High School in Webster.
Residents may drop off old electronics, including household batteries other that 12-volt batteries, simply by driving through the loop at the center. No appointment or packaging is needed. Volunteers will be on hand to unload the items.
There will be a $10 surcharge for each monitor, TV and microwave, but also being accepted will be computers, laptops, modems, servers, peripherals, navigation (GPS) units, cellular phones, fax machines, copiers, CD players and more. No household appliances will be accepted.
Proceeds will benefit the Webster Health and Education Network (WHEN) – and the environment. Items will be recycled by Maven Technologies.
