Horseheads —
The Chemung County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary early Thursday Jan. 19 in which thieves smashes their way into a Horseheads Target store through a big window, and got away with several tablet computers.
According to the police report, burglars smashed a plate-glass window at about 2 a.m. this morning to gain entry to the Target at 930 County Route 64, Horseheads.
Once inside, the burglars took several Apple iPads, then left through an emergency exit.
Anyone with information on the case or who may have seen something suspicious around the time of the burglary, should call the Criminal Investigation Division of the Chemung County Sheriff's Office at 607-737-2933.
