The Webster Junior Warriors/Junior Titans Football/Cheerleading Organization held its annual Punt, Pass and Kick event last month at Boulter Field.
The winners of the PPK event completed the first stage in what will be a nationwide competition. Also held at that time was the Organizations annual Foodlink Drive, which helps to serve over 550 programs throughout a 10-county area. These programs include emergency shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, day care providers and group homes.
The events at Boulter Field went along with other fun activities and a special guest professional football player, Perry Patterson from the Rochester Raiders Indoor Football Team.
Patterson, a former Syracuse University quarterback, spent time with all of the participants talking about his youth sports and how these young players should have fun but also work hard not only in athletics but in academics as well.
