Two people are dead following a vehicle crash that happened on County Road 37 in the Town of Canadice Saturday night.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office tells us that two people are dead following a vehicle crash that happened on County Road 37 in the Town of Canadice.
Deputies say that the call for the crash came in at around 8:43 p.m. Saturday night, and there was only one vehicle involved. The two people who were inside the vehicle were 32-year-old Richard Cansdale of Lima, who was the driver, and 28-year-old Amberjo Rader of Dansville.
According to deputies, Cansdale’s 2013 Dodge Dart left the east shoulder of the road. They report that the vehicle hit an earth embankment as well as a tree, and finally came to rest on its side. Sadly, both Cansdale and Rader were pronounced dead at the scene.
They tell us that the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and that a part of County Road 37 had been closed to traffic for hours but they say it is back open.
