The Friends and Foundation of the Rochester Public Library will hold two free, facilitated, open dialogues about race, awareness of racial identity, segregation in individual lives, the connections of race and poverty and its community impact in February.

Penfield Public Library, 1985 Baird Road, Penfield, will host “Conversations on Race with Poverty” from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 2.

Pittsford Community Library, 24 State St., Pittsford, will host “Conversations on Race” from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 26.

Each conversation is not a presentation with a speaker; everyone will participate in large and small group discussions.
