The Greece Town Board has set a public hearing on a proposed Chick-Fil-A restaurant in the town.

The hearing is set for January 17 at 6:18 p.m. A current proposal would bring a restaurant to West Ridge Road.

If approved, the restaurant would be the first Chick-Fil-A in the Rochester area. The franchise, known for its chicken sandwich, has several locations in New York City.

In a Facebook post, Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich wrote, "Great town board meeting tonight. Chick-Fil-A is coming to Greece."
