The ninth annual Greater Rochester Career Conference and Job Fair will feature 68 companies that are recruiting for a variety of positions and industries from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 11 in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center at Monroe Community College, 1000 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester.
RochesterWorks! will sponsor the free fair with Monroe County, MCC, the New York Department of Labor and Adult Career and Continuing Educational Services-Vocational Rehabilitation.
“RochesterWorks! is proud to continue to offer our community one of the largest workforce development events in our region,” said Pete Pecor, executive director. “It’s all a part of our mission to strengthen our workforce by connecting businesses and job seekers.”
The job fair’s purpose is to connect local job seekers to local jobs.
“One of my top priorities is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to obtain a good paying job,” said Cheryl Dinolfo, Monroe County executive. “I am proud to stand with RochesterWorks! to host Rochester’s largest career conference and job fair. There are job opportunities available right here in Monroe County, and I am proud to help make the connection for people looking for work in our community.”
