Henderson Ford, 810 Ridge Road, Webster, collected 957 new and used books in two months to donate to students between six and 12 years old attending Rochester City School Number 52, Frank Fowler Dow Elementary School.
The books, presented to the school on Oct 14, will help hundreds of Rochester City School students focus on reading through their "Fill a Focus" book drive.
Henderson Ford staff and customers managed the book drive, with help from local businesses including A Different Point of View, Omeros Clothes, Pulse Marketing Group and Dixon Schwabl.
Henderson Ford President Randy Henderson personally delivered the books to School 52 where he spoke to students about the importance of reading.
