Some Xerox employees in product research and engineering will receive pink slips today, according to a spokesperson for Xerox.
Xerox previously stated in its fourth quarter earnings report that there would be some restructuring in the first quarter of 2012 – these layoffs are part of that.
The spokesperson said that although every position effected is significant, the numbers are small in relationship to its 140,000 global employees.
