Pittsford man hurt in motorcycle crash in Victor

A Pittsford man was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and released after he crashed his motorcycle near Eastview Mall at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Ontario County deputies said.

Deputies said Leonard K. Moninger, 63, of 6 Green Ridge Road, Pittsford, was traveling on the Eastview Mall Outer Ring Road when he reacted to a vehicle that appeared to cross into his path. Moninger then fell from his motorcycle when trying to avoid the collision.

He was wearing a helmet, but suffered a cut to his face and scrapes to his arms and legs. Moninger was taken to Strong Hospital by Victor Farmington Ambulance.
