Rahn lawyer found in contempt

Supreme Court Judge Francis Affronti has ordered the former Greece Police Chief's lawyer John Parrinello to pay $500, as a punishment for being found in contempt.

Late Tuesday, Affronti threatened to hold Parrinello in contempt of court. Affronti said if further disrespectful conduct occurs, Parrinello will face further punishment, including jail time.

Rahn is charged with three counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, one count of second-degree hindering prosecution, four counts of first-degree tampering with public records, one count of first-degree falsifying business records, one count of third-degree falsely reporting an incident, and two counts of official misconduct.
