About 100 people attended a May 3 forum, hosted by the Webster-based Citizens Against Teen Suicide (C.A.T.S.)... and bullying, that was held at Baywinde in Penfield.
The forum was geared to families and focused on cyber-bullying and bully abuse.
C.A.T.S. Director Dr. Ray Antocicco was the emcee and also a speaker at the event. Keynote speaker was Dr. Sam Mcquade lll, of Rochester Institute of Technology.
Other participants included Supervisor Tony La Fountain of Penfield, and East Rochester student, singer and songwriter Alyssa Trahan, who sang an original anti-bully song.
Partnering with C.A.T.S. for the event were Agape Counseling, Baywinde Senior Living Community, Cayuga Centers and Matt Talbot Ministries. There were also a number of community sponsors.
