The Friends of the Webster Public Library are holding a membership drive this month. The theme is “Love Your Library.”
There will be a membership table set up at the front of the library, 980 Ridge Road. Stop by and learn more about the Friends.
Members who join or renew during this February drive will receive a free paperback book from the Lobby Sale collection.
Friends memberships taken out this month will be valid through March 2013.
There will also be a gift basket raffle available to all library patrons.
The purpose of the membership drive is to increase awareness of the Friends’ organization and what it does to support the Webster Public Library through its various fundraising events.
The funds raised by the Friends are used to underwrite all of the programs provided by the Webster Public Library, including travelogues, teen programs, children’s programs, and computer classes.
